Bathrooms don’t get enough love, but they should!

After all, no modern house is complete without one.

Whether it’s a palatial executive bathroom, a tiny en suite, or somewhere in-between, your Minecraft bathroom deserves to be treated with respect.

That’s why we’ve gathered together some of the best mods you can use to spruce up your Minecraft bathroom.

10. Furniture Data Pack

The Furniture Data Pack is a mod that includes a range of bathroom fittings, including a flushable toilet, useable showers and sinks, and a fillable bath.

Items mostly use vanilla Minecraft textures here – which help them blend in fairly well with their surroundings compared with some other bathroom mods.

If you’re looking for the kind of Minecraft bathroom that feels like it could have been in the base game, this mod is worth a try.

9. Hot Water Mod

How Water is an older mod, but one that might come in handy for players looking to make their bathing experience more impactful and rewarding.

This adds two new water variations to the game:

Spring Water removes all negative status effects when bathed in and slowly regenerates your health at the cost of your hunger.

And you also get Hot Water, which will damage you slowly over time (we’ve all run a bath like that).

The mod also adds Superheated Lava to Minecraft, which can damage you even without direct contact – so don’t bathe in that. Not even once.

8. Jammy Furniture Reborn

Jammy Furniture Reborn is another mod that adds decorative furniture to the game, including baths, bathroom cupboards, bathroom sinks, and all that other bathroom goodness.

The mod also features window blinds to add a bit more privacy to your bathroom, as well as a range of light fittings.

The mod hasn’t been updated for a few years, but it still offers a fairly solid bathroom experience if you happen to be using an older version of Minecraft.

7. Extended Lights

A good bathroom needs good lighting.

And although Minecraft’s vanilla lighting options have greatly expanded over the years, the range of more modern lighting options remains slim.

Extended Lights lets you enhance your bathroom’s look with new lighting, including modern electric wall, floor, and ceiling-mounted light panels and bulbs.

Or if you’re looking to unwind with some soothing candle light, the mod also adds candlesticks and candelabras that come in both iron and gold variants, which add a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to Minecraft’s default candles.

6. Tiled Floor Mod

Since time immemorial, people have liked to coat their bathroom floors with loads of small clay squares.

Now in Minecraft you can too, with the Tiled Floors Mod.

Each tile block has four tiles on each side, and features a pattern of black tiles alternating with a color of your choice.

It’s a fairly basic mod, but it adds an exciting alternative to the more standard vanilla materials.

5. Macaw’s Doors

Whether it’s a tiny wooden outhouse, or a sumptuous realm of brass taps and marble floors, the one thing that everyone can agree on is that a good bathroom is private.

And what better way to get some privacy than with a beautiful new door?

Macaw’s Doors lets you combine the style of vanilla Minecraft door with any standard wood texture.

Which is excellent, because quite a few of the standard Minecraft doors have windows in them, and the colors of the ones that don’t (spruce, dark oak, and the doors from the nether) are likely to clash with your modern kitchen.

This mod also comes with a range of new door types, including sliding shoji doors for the more adventurous bathroom builder.

4. Poop Mod!

If (like me) you have the maturity of an eight-year-old, your parents look upon you with shame in their eyes, and you have a fondness for toilet humor, then here you go.

Poop Mod! includes craftable toilets and toilet paper rolls – not unlike any other good bathroom mod.

The 3D models would look extremely presentable in any Minecraft bathroom.

And as far as I’m aware, this is one of the only mods which includes useable toilet paper holders.

But be warned:

Beyond these standard trappings, the mod takes a sharp shift towards the scatological.

You see, when you use the toilet, you can then gather up your poop, smelt it into ingots, and then use it to create a surprisingly broad range of weapons, armor, blocks, and yes… edible bars of chocolate.

3. Modern Creator Mod

The Modern Creator Mod is another great choice for your custom bathroom build.

It adds a selection of modern HD furniture and decorations to Minecraft, including several new bathroom fittings for you to enjoy.

This includes a bathtub, a shower cubicle, a toilet, and a bathroom sink.

The mod even includes several beautiful flowers and plants in vases – just to help you prettify your bathroom and keep it smelling fresh, as well as curtains for that added bit of privacy.

And you even get a glass door, if for some reason you like to have the opposite of privacy.

2. MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod

MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod is absolutely massive.

It comes with eighty modern-style furniture items that are suitable for every part of the house, including a diverse range of bathroom furniture and fittings.

More specifically, you’ll get interactive baths, showers, basins and toilets, as well as medicine cabinets, mirrors, and soap.

The mod also includes a range of non-bathroom-related items for every other room in your house, including cool gadgets, modern stairs and doors, and even wireless electric lighting.

At the time of writing this article, the mod is undergoing a code rewrite, meaning that certain furniture items are unavailable for more recent versions of Minecraft.

But these items are planned to be restored in future updates anyways – not to mention that older versions still contain the full range of items.

1. Decocraft

Decocraft is a truly valuable mod, which adds over 3000 unique and highly-detailed decorative items to the game.

And this means you get items for pretty much every room in the house – including a suite of bathroom items.

All the usual suspects are here, including a sink, a toilet, and various shower fittings.

But the mod also includes smaller details such as soap, toilet paper holders, and towel racks, offering the kind of little details that help you make your Minecraft bathroom feel really lived-in.
