I love BioWare’s Dragon Age series.

Its mixture of political intrigue, deeply personal stories, and dramatic romance with a well-crafted fantasy universe are simply irresistible – and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Choosing how your character reacts to each event makes you feel invested in the story, and it adds replayability as you go back to see what would have happened had you made a different choice.

That said, sometimes you just want to see your favorite characters interact without the fate of the world resting on their shoulders – or attend an Orlesian ball without having to stop an assassination attempt.

A great way to reconnect with Thedas without all the responsibility is to bring a bit of its magic into The Sims 4.

And by the time you’re finished reading this list of CC, you’ll be able to hold court in an Orlesian palace, all from the comfort of your TS4 save.

1. Orlesian Battledress

Orlesian Battledress Cc For The Sims 4

First up, we’ve got the most fashionable battle armor in all of Thedas.

I’m talking, of course, about an Orlesian Battledress as seen on Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Vivienne could always be seen wearing some variation of this during my playthrough. It’s a stylish but functional piece that instills both fear and admiration on enemies of Orlais, much like the First Enchanter herself.

Sadly, it doesn’t include any recolors.

But the bright silver palette is already worth the download.

2. Female Antaam-saar Armor

Female Antaam-Saar Armor / Sims 4 Cc

We’ll continue with another notorious battle armor from DA:I – the Antaam-saar. Specifically, the human female version.

Despite its seemingly delicate design, the Antaam-saar is standard issue light armor among certain Qunari troops.

That just goes to show you can’t judge an entire society based on their muscular hulking bodies and bad-ass horns.

I always found this armor very enticing due to its exotic style and how it delicately highlights core strength.

Get this for a fit Sim, so they can show off their hard-earned six pack.

3. Cassandra Tank Top

All of you Lawful Good readers probably love Cassandra Allegra Portia Calogera Filomena Pentaghast – the former Right Hand of the Divine and current Divine Victoria (well, depending on which DA:I ending you got).

If you want your Sims to show their Cassandra love, or better yet, you want your Cassandra-based Sim to have some regular 21st-century clothing… well you’re in luck.

Based on BioWare’s own merch, this black tank top bears the all-seeing eye symbol of the Seekers of Truth on a black background.

You don’t have to stop seeking the truth just because we use synthetic fibers now.

4. Vallaslin Tattoos

Vallaslin Tattoos (Dragon Age) For The Sims 4

You’re not really a Dalish elf unless you have the Vallaslin – ceremonial tattoos that set them apart from other cultures.

Also known as the blood writing, these detailed face tattoos are seen on any Dalish who’s already “come of age”.

They represent the Dalish gods, and the ceremony where it is applied is one of the most important moments in their lives.

If you don’t want your Dalish Sim to be treated like a child by their tribe, they need these tattoos.

This set includes every single Vallaslin variation from DA:I in nine different colors for a total of 144 tattoos. Talk about variety!

5. DAI Decorations

Since you’re keeping Dalish elves in your household, you might want to consider furnishing their surroundings with a little taste from home.

This pack contains several converted models from DA:I’s wealth of decorative structures, specifically those seen around the nomadic Elvhenan descendants.

These include grazing Halla statues, Fen’Harel statues in different sizes, Dalish banners, and much more.

6. Fenris Set

Fenris Da:i Set / Sims 4 Cc

Most of the best Dragon Age CC available online focuses on Inquisition, which makes sense considering both The Sims 4 and DA:I were released around the same time.

Still, I was able to smuggle some DA2 CC into the list.

Fenris was one of the most popular characters to romance in DA2, regardless of whether you played a male or female Hawke. With this CC set, you can set him loose in your Sim world to break hearts left and right.

This escaped Tevinter slave is covered from head to toe in Lyrium markings that actually glow in this custom Sim!

7. Anders Set

On the other hand, we have Anders:

A human mage who escaped the Templar Order and the Circle of Magi to become a Grey Warden in pursuit of personal freedom.

During Dragon Age 2, we see Anders get possessed by the Fade spirit of Justice, which temporarily turns his eyes a shining eerie white – something this custom Sim set doesn’t overlook.

Whenever this custom Sim gets angry, his eyes will also glow, signifying that Justice is in control.

There’s even a version that includes Ser Pounce-a-Lot – Anders’ beloved cat.

8. Dorian Outfit

Dorian Outfit / Sims 4 Cc

Thanks to this Dorian Outfit from DA: I, humans, vampires, and aliens will have the finest Tevinter threads.

As a member of the prestigious House Pavus, this Imperium mage has been a bit of a troublemaker for most of his life.

When we meet him in Inquisition, however, he does nothing but support our fight against Corypheus.

No matter if you’re drowning in the sand at the Hissing Wastes or melting under the sun of the Forbidden Oasis, Dorian always looks his best.

9. Dorian Hairstyle & Mustache

Dorian Hairstyle &Amp; Mustache For The Sims 4

Check Out This CC

If you want to take things further and just remake Dorian to live in your TS4 game, it’s not enough to have his favorite outfit.

You’ll also need some help in the hairstyling department.

This Dorian Hairstyle & Mustache perfectly capture Dorian’s refined irreverence.

He may be a bit too fond of drink and a total flirt, but Dorian is a proud Tevinter and heir to a powerful family – and he makes sure his styling reflects this.

Even if you don’t remake Dorian in TS4, this stylish mustache and modern haircut are pretty versatile.

They’re available in 18 colors and will look fantastic on suave Sims.

10. Grand Duchess Florianne Outfits

Grand Duchess Florianne Outfits / Ts4 Cc

Check Out This CC

Another proud noble you may want in your game is Grand Duchess Florianne – or, at least, you’re going to want her fancy Orlesian clothes.

Duchess Florianne is one of the leading players in the unforgettable Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts event from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Uncovering her plans to betray the Orlesian crown is not easy – and neither is fighting her once the gig is up.

One thing I noticed on my second playthrough was just how stylish her roguish battle armor is.

This CC set makes getting her butterfly dress and dark assassin outfit in your TS4 as easy as downloading a file.

Of course, it includes her ever-present Orlesian mask.

11. Josephine Outfit

Josephine Outfit / Sims 4 Cc

Check Out This CC

Another female noble with some knowledge of the killing arts is Josephine, the eldest daughter of the Montilyet family and chief diplomat for the Inquisition.

This Antivan lady is an expert at navigating the intricacies of dealing with nobles and political allies. She got part of this knowledge from her time as a Bard – a special kind of assassin in the world of Dragon Age – though she has since abandoned this violent life.

Her outfit is bright and dazzling – something common among Antivan nobles – but retains a certain dignified air that adds to Josephine’s authority.

This mod includes 15 swatches for her ornate necklace, and a whopping 25 different colors for the outfit itself.

It also includes her hairstyle, and you can find her moles here.

12. Cassandra Heavy Armor

Cassandra Heavy Armor For The Sims 4

Check Out This CC

The Cassandra Tank Top we covered earlier is a fantastic piece.

But if you really want your Cassandra Sim to look authentic, you’re going to need some heavy armor.

Her religion and values may drive her actions, but Cassandra is a mighty knight first and foremost.

Her muscular frame lets her carry several kilograms of armor like it’s nothing – so she’s happy to wear it even out of combat.

This mod comes in only one color, but allows for customization by separating the armor into parts. You can choose whether or not to use the shoulder pads, gauntlets, or sword/shield, all directly in CAS.

13. Solas’ Tresspasser Outfit

Solas’ Tresspasser Outfit / Sims 4 Cc

Check Out This CC

The Inquisitor may be the playable character in DA:I, but Solas is just as relevant to the story – and possibly more important in the grand scheme of things.

This traitorous egg starts out as an elven apostate mage and an expert on the Fade – or, at least, that’s what he tells you.

During the events of the Trespasser DLC, we learn of his true identity – Fen’Harel, the elven God of Betrayal and Rebellion.

Regardless of whether you think his betrayal is justifiable, we must admit he looks fly once he assumes his Dread Wolf identity.

This mod brings that same outfit to TS4, complete with his scar and unique eyes.

14. DAI Wall Art

Dai Wall Art For The Sims 4

During most of his time at Skyhold, we see Solas working tirelessly on a massive fresco depicting the adventures of the Inquisitor and reflecting their decisions along the way.

This massive mural is one of the most beautiful works of art you’ll find in the world of Thedas.

It reflects Solas’ artistic sensibilities and understanding of historical events from the unique perspective of a seemingly immortal elf god.

Depending on your choices throughout the story, the mural will look slightly different.

This mod includes every option, each split into three parts for easier application.

15. Mage/Templar Trait Mod

Mage/Templar Trait Mod / Sims 4 Cc

Check Out This Mod

One of the main themes in Dragon Age is the tension between the Mages and Templars of Thedas.

If you’re going to play with Dragon Age-inspired Sims, you can’t have Mages and Templars just befriending each other all willy-nilly.

A great way to add some realism to their interactions is through the Templar and Mage Traits, which will give your Sims severe prejudice against the opposing group.

In addition, each trait will give the affected Sim special buffs and debuffs related to their class.

A Templar might feel randomly inspired by Andraste, while Mages feel more creative impulses.

If you like this then be sure to check out the Grey Warden Trait Mod as well.

16. Chantry Outfits

Chantry Outfits (Dragon Age) Ts4 Cc

Check Out This CC

The Chantry is probably the most powerful organization in all of Thedas. Their goal is for everyone to hear Andraste’s Chant of Light – and that includes your TS4 Sims.

If you ask me, I’d say their popularity is largely due to how good their religious songs are.

I mean, remember this?

But I’d say their pious fashion sense also hits the mark – as you’ll soon see in this CC set, which includes seven different Chantry outfits representing different ranks within the group.

Alternatively, you can get the less flashy Chantry robes from Dragon Age: Origins.

17. Ferelden Noble Outfits

Ferelden Noble Outfits For The Sims 4

Check Out This CC

If you’re not the religious type but still crave some nice Thedas fashion to dress your Sims in, consider these Ferelden Noble Outfits.

The somewhat young kingdom of Ferelden has its roots in fierce people who’ve fended off foreign invasions by more advanced societies with only grit and clenched teeth.

Well, that, and Mabari war dogs.

They may not be the most civilized.

But their “barbaric” origins have given their fashion a very bold and imposing style.

With six dresses, tons of fur accessories, and a wealth of different colors, this CC set has enough variety to dress an entire Fereldan court.

18. Inquisition Collection

Da:i Inquisition Collection / Sims 4 Cc

Check Out This CC

You can make all sorts of Inquisitors thanks to DA:I’s in-depth character creator.

But one thing they all have in common is their sharp fashion sense – especially in their leisure outfits.

This Inquisition CC Collection includes everything you need to bring The Inquisitor into TS4, sporting the same get-up you’d usually see them wearing while walking around Skyhold on official business.

In addition to their casual wear, you’ll find a wide variety of scars, moles, and unique hairstyles for your unlikely religious leader.

More importantly, it adds The Anchor – AKA the green glowy thing on the character’s left hand.

19. Journey to Orlais Lot Series

Journey To Orlais Lot Series For The Sims 4

Check Out This Lot

Now that you’ve got decorations, outfits, and custom Sims, it’s time to figure out where they’ll come together.

If you’re too lazy to rebuild Skyhold from the ground up, consider a Journey to Orlais.

This fantastic series of Orlesian lots includes everything from the Market at Val Royeaux to the Winder Palace – all recreated with incredible accuracy and fully furnished for your Sims to enjoy a vacation in Orlais.

The most amazing lot in the collection is the Chateau D’Onterre, which we free from a demonic infestation in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

20. Morrigan’s Orlesian Ball Gown

Morrigan’s Orlesian Ball Gown / Sims 4 Cc

Check Out This CC

If you’re visiting an Orlesian palace, you need to look the part – and few have adapted Orlesian fashion to their tastes as well as Morrigan during Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.

The Witch of the Wilds makes her first appearance in Dragon Age: Inquisition during a ball at the Winter Palace.

And she fits right in with this luxurious formal dress – most likely made by the Queen’s own tailors.

The dress itself comes in a whopping 72 swatches, with the necklace, broach, and feathers boasting a similarly wide variety.

If you want to go all out and just make Morrigan in your Sims game, then you’ll be happy to have her moles and her hair as well.
